Although what I do is characters, I felt inspired of the interesting possibilities that Substance and its procedural texturing is capable of create and shown in some of the Assassin's Creed Unity environment art, which I love. Then I had an idea for this contest that I want to try to make as a learning experience, and who…

This is the most disjointed paragraph ever. You are conflating anarchism with poorly implemented communism. (funny how failed communist states are evidence communism can never work, but failed capitalist states are just crazy coincidences that don't indict capitalism as a failed system). And don't bring up Cuba, because…
Hi, Just like we have promised, we start our Challenge! Cebas sponsored Render and VFX Challenge: "Dark Side" http://3dtutorials.net/challenges/challenge-1-dark-side
FinalToon from Cebas looks like it has pretty good renders, but that one costs $$$, which I do not have, so I can't give you my opinion on it. The Ink n' Paint material may work for your purposes like has been said.

wasn't it always isolated just within max? I know that Polyboost or the Graphite tools came with a very primitive clone brush and some other simple brushes - but it was all still within max. Mudbox allows you to use Photoshop as a middle ware to paint directly within generated PSD files. For max there are plugins like…
Two things: 1. It's not a highschool romance, Michael Cera is playing his own age (22) for once 2. Don't think of it as a Michael Cera movie but an Edgar Wright movie
low odor sebas Thank you both! low odor, that first one will be especially helpful, as the curve of the arms and legs (rather than being just plump sticks) is what I have been trying to work out the most. sebas ...is it weird that I find that image both a little disturbing and kind of beautiful.
awesome lots of cool ideas. seems 3d paint is a big one. i have actually gave photoshop the boot completly and now do all my painting in bodypaint, must be crazy, but i actually like the way brushes feel more in bodypaint. and since i am suppose to be artistic translator for my programmer friend i can see myself just…
