Although what I do is characters, I felt inspired of the interesting possibilities that Substance and its procedural texturing is capable of create and shown in some of the Assassin's Creed Unity environment art, which I love.
Then I had an idea for this contest that I want to try to make as a learning experience, and who knows, I could use it as a background for some future character/s out of the contest. My challenge is maybe to take structural elements based of existing styles like ancient Egypt but in a totally custom approach containing symbology about moon, stars and perhaps wolves...
I want to keep it simple at first, so I can have an opportunity to finish my entry. If I get the time, I could go more complex.
