Update. I worked out some more body parts. Made a pose for the test. I threw the model into marvelous like a morph so that the dress would be re-simulated on it. I have long wanted to try this method. On the way, I fixed the pivot, because with the old morph fell through the floor during the simulation. By the way, who…
Hi everyone, here is my realtime character "The Geisha" based on a Radoslav Topalov concept. The origin story of O-Ren Ishii in Kill Bill was a great inspiration for this. I started this project to learn new techniques while making a complex hair style and clothing. Head reference: Rila Fukushima, XYZ Workflow I used…
Why not start in zbrush and use zremesher? Or start with a base model and sculpt from that (you could use Makehuman or some of the provided sculpt meshes to quickly get a mesh to start from). For some types of clothing if you want to save yourself some hassle maybe use MarvelousDesigner? Anything with folds and wrinkles…
I'm not sure if sculpting would make it much more easier. I would go about this in either of the following methods: 1 - Model the underlying structure. And create the cloth with MarvelousDesigner. You can then choose to render a normal map or use the raw geometry. This way you get a realistic looking piece of cloth versus…

Here is Satsuki Composited. I decided not to add the shoulders, as I couldn't get it looking right. I also did a quick sculpt of Motoko Kusanagi from the anime Ghost in the shell. If you didn't read the first post, please read this to avoid confusion! I've recently made the decision of creating 3D characters that are more…
Hi @PollySong and @Isaiah Sherman I plan to maintain UVs in the next version of QuadRemesher. That said, depending on the input mesh different technics must be used: Let's consider your existing UV seams as an edge selection. The big question is: In the retopo mesh, can you get edge loops on ALL these UV-seams edges path…
@cryrid Is "Decimation Master" not really used in the industry? If so, why? Because you can't controll the flow? I know one person can't answer such a question alone, but i have to start somewhere :D that thing with the uvs... on this video " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki0jBmjrqc4" at "00:40" he says "Work on clone…
I think you have a few issues at hand here "Why would it matter if I model in Blender, 3ds Max or Modo? I can export the object in a universal format and there will be no problem whatsoever for someone else in the studio to use it." besides plugins, engines can be synced to the tool at hand, triangulation is also different…
