Hey! Been working on this shotgun walk: https://syncsketch.com/playground/b125bbcb33764102b12f4e4d4501da41#184243 It's based off of this walk: http://polycount.com/discussion/186637/shotgun-walk Pretty much everything from the waist down is identical. I don't want to change the speed or stride length because I'm going to…
Hello everyone. Can someone with more blueprint/unreal experience give me some advice? Step 1 of my project is room scale with the ability to snap and unsnap parts with your hands. I need to plan for long term functionality when the parts can be swapped out for damaged, clean, and aftermarket versions. Also I need it to be…
I just say from my experience, and mention at first I'm terrible at paiting textures. 1) You really should stack UV's all those wood part can share same space. 2) Stone part also can share same space 3) I don't think it's good idea (depends on where you will use asset), but you can also use sub-materials for biggest part…
I want to mess with the Shape Recognition and Intensity in CrazyBump, but more or less on an individual scale. Any easy way to accomplish this? This is a test of a Diffuse I have, but let's say I don't want the Normal Map affecting the "P". Here's what it looks like when I run it through CrazyBump What do you suggest I do…
Nice updates dude! I actually bodybuild myself so I just notice lots of stuff other people might miss. Here's what I mean, a bodybuilder with developed legs will have that area between his legs touching if his knees are pointed outward like you have them. This is because the development of the hamstrings in the back come…
Looking good. the mesh looks nice, but could use more rings around the thigh, for deformations. As dense as he is, he should be able to have perfect definition around there as his legs rotate. I think over all on the texture, it seems light on detail, and heavy on overlays. It looks like some floodfills with some grime…
So I have some texturing in progress in here. Most of this will probably toned down and simplified a bit, I want it to be a little more stylised possibly with some brush strokes being obvious. I dunno yet, still experimenting and still have lots to do but I think it serves as a good base to work off of. For the jacket, I…
Is it ok to bake a section of a model that you will rotate instances around after you bake, and weld the verts of these instances? Let's say you have a 32 sided sphere. you only want to worry about 1/8 of it to bake. you bake that 1/8, rotate copies and then weld the copies. Is this the same thing as editing the geo after…
