Hey, looks pretty good: One of the tools listed is 'Gigapixel AI' so I don't know how much of this is actually your work. I see you intend to add breakdown/process shots, so that's good. I recommend doing an image showing it tiled. Lots of photogrammetry based materials look amazing until they start repeating. You've also…
I've had to churn this project out pretty quickly so have had my head down today to get some progress under my belt. Here are all my assets textured and in Unreal Engine 4 (Unlit), My final layout of the scene (Unlit) and a fully lit screenshot from the same angle as the concept art. I will be doing a fly through for the…
Hi folks! I modeled this crate for modeling/texturing practice and when I imported into Substance and textured, I noticed the UVs were strange on the back bottom plank and the side. The other sides are okay. I transferred UVs on some of these but not all, however, I deleted history and did everything correctly in that…
Dropping another update here for this project as I've progressed more and would like feedback as it's starting to look closer to finalized. Made a few test renders after building up the foliage, tweaking some post process values to saturate the scene more and added in a simple snow falling niagara particle system. Added a…
[WIP] A personal project with a focus on using of trim sheets and tiling textures in environment production. If anyone is interested a daily blog of my progress during this project can be found here http://jameshmontague.com/Blog1.html (Apologies if the site doesn't work properly on mobile devices) It's been a tough…
Well, happy days! :) I spent the last couple of evenings completely rewriting this script. I've changed it over to using a custom rollout window with a progress bar display there, I really don't like Max's global progress bar! The good news... capone sent me his test mesh, which is around 33,000 triangles with 795 separate…
I would keep working on the face, the lip seems feline, unless that was intentional. Keep sculpting the flesh around the eyes. Eyebrows could be bigger. Steady progress is solid progress, good luck Melomad
Good progress! Re: Histogram There are not tools in Unreal to update the lighting from histogram. It's more of a general tool for you to know where your values fall compared to your reference. Or if they are too dark/bright/not using the whole range. You can get the histogram in any image editing software like Photoshop…
Just curious since I've been here so very long besides color bleeding "possible issues", with what i will mention what other issues are there to it? When we where learning this stuff back in the day (& this also works for concepts) was work on it at any resolution & then scale it down by /2 sharpen [not over sharpen], & do…
