I think he means within DDO. As far as i know there is no way to do exactly this. The closest thing you have is importing your own masks and placing them around in dynamask editor, but they need to be black/white.
Every Quixel Suite project has AFAIK a group where you can put custom layers, but creating a layer and not putting it in those groups (called custom masks or something) can lead to some crazy mess in DDO.
Yeah that's probably not ideal all you'll end up doing is masking the problem for a while until you start getting it with the 'new' setup and need to change again. Powerballs are good. Stretch your wrists/hands/arms. Masturbation... :)
Started speedmodeling today, will try to post as many models as I can. First one: Custom Venetian Plague Mask (+- 1 hour) Sorry for bad quality, was a small render. Don't know where the noise came from.
They've started showing off ZB4 features, first ones up: shadowbox (extended hard surface via masking functionality), matchmaker (projection while maintaining volume), and clip brushes. http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=090818
You can use a blend material. A lot of people put "vertex color" in the mask channel and then apply vertex paint modifer to the object and paint the blend. It won't show up in the viewport but it will show up when you render.
According to the documentation (link), the glass shader only works with sunlight for now. I had the same problem when trying to create a glass material with a transparency mask, it only worked when I dragged it out of the VisArea / Interior.
I was thinking a bit, and thought, why not Javier Bardem as Batman? Hell, with his profile he barely needs a mask, plus he's a great actor. And he's Latino so he can be El Hombre MURCIELGO! :P
I've tried to practice a bit more with material definitions, using metals, paints etc. I feel that my workflow still needs a lot of improvement, but I've definitely learned a lot about masking in Substance Painter. mode
Mouth and nose are in the right position. The eyes are a little bit higher but to me it looks better. I changed the mask, too. It is wider but not as big as the original. Because if I'll do it like this it seems too big in contrast to her head.
