You could painstakingly screenshot ever frame of animation and save that out as a .TGA in photoshop then put it together in some video editing program? Might not be so bad if all you're doing is a turn around. Edit: Skullbox's idea is better.
Another approach that might work is to make your spline a plane with the right width you want it and then apply a shell modifier to it. will give you an even thickness around, but will make it possible to edit as an editable poly. Quite a few ways to do this :)

ok, so i've used the groupsplit tool to split my mesh down, but it's done it by element, so both boots are now different subtools. i can't edit one and have those edits show on the other, how can i merge two subtools into one? also, uvwmapping in zbrush sucks -_-
Your rig pose and skin pose can be different, they don't need to match. So you can rig in a T but once the rigging is done you can deform it into the A-Pose and skin your mesh. sometimes it is easier to model in an T-pose too, but after the hands and arms are done deform it into a A pose so you can work on the shoulders.…
