Hello :) I find myself in a situation where I'm dealing with pretty damn bad files. I need to bring them into Unity. The materials inside of max are using cropped textures, that obviously do not translate well :) Any ideas to quickly convert cropped textures into regular (0,1)?
I was wondering if there was a simple way to create the cool organic feel this Quake 3 texture has from scratch. It seems the artist used some overlays but a lot of the lines seem they were either painted or maybe paths were used. Any thoughts on how to do this quickly would be great. Thanks. Alex

Started working on a pair of shoes, all clothes so far have been made so I quickly can change colors and patterns with all details overlayed on top. Only diffuse on these so far, no normal
Its beautiful! Though when I think of assassin I imagine weapons that can be hidden easily and quickly this feels more like its for a large built barbaric warrior But thats just what I'm feeling
Thanks @Kid.in.the.Dark I'll try to play with the FOV. The barricade is definitly too hard-edged right now, I just quickly slapped it together to test some textures, I'll be doing a proper high-poly pass on it.
The texture sizes seem excessive for what you have. Keep in mind that you won't be able to see many of the finer details if everything is moving quickly. 140k is no problem for a PC, but it is pushing the upper limit for mobile platforms.
Hey Thegodzero, thanks, I'll try that out Finished the base mesh for the most part. I'll probably change the arm armor later as I just kinda quickly did it for time's sake, getting rather late
Looks nice, its really handy to be able to quickly place screws and bolts without having to do the highpoly for it. Do you have any tips for setting up the procedural controls that you showed in the last gif?
Solved the problem fairly quickly. Went back to the HP and selected the voided area, detached as a clone and gave it some thickness with some loops and some adjustments and baked it as two separate parts to the same LP. Result
