Hey Fabi_G, thanks for your comment! :D I never use hard edges for my low polys, it's something that has been taught to me at school, but maybe I'll try using them next time, see how it looks! I also completely agree about the UV stacking, same as the UV space. In hindsight I should have thought more about this but I just…
In your videos can you explain what each step/the importance does rather than telling people to do a step? I ask this because if I learn the purpose of a step, it's easier for me to remember. In many tutorials I've seen, the guys usually omit the information on the importance of a step or process and just limit it to…
Salve, galera! How are you guys? So after writing a good backstory and spending some weeks gathering more references, doing some doodles and blocking out the map using a new perspective given by Thiago, it was time to go hands on and start texturing. Before that, I would like to show a bit of my progress in the blockout…
Hey man, sorry I've been MIA that past few days but I've been extremely busy. Just looked over your progress and 2 things to add to what TeriyakiStyle was talking about. When I did the process thing I showed up a bit on the top I probably didn't illustrate how to push local value well enough with the piece I selected. What…
This Yeti was done for the 3DTotal The Coming of the Ice: Abominable Snowman sculpting challenge. The objective was to create my interpretation of an abominable snowman. One of the requirements was to record the progress. Below you will find my youtube videos of said progress. video progress: Part 1: [ame]…

For the sake of clarity, would this not be considered "teamwork"?Especially in regards to paint-overs and "vote for your favorite version" type threads. If people get to "vote" on their favorite one of 4 or 5…
Looks like your making progress keep it up. I was wondering how you did your fence obviously an alpha/opacity but one of my instructors informed us that it was more cost effective resource wise to have two planes on top of each other with the normals facing opposite directions rather than having a double sided alpha.…
The problem lied in me being tired and working late, really....-.- I had forgotten that my Depth Mask in my material clamped between min:0.125 to max:1 and not from 0 to 1, which made the heat haze effect always appear even close to the camera. This will be a temporary fix, for now. i'm still thinking about combining it…
Been a little bit since I updated my progress here, so quick dump ^^ Some feedback we got was that the connection between the woods and the sewing room is still quite unclear, and it was suggested that we bridge the two locations by showing the outside of the shop. Currently we're still waiting on more concepts for the…
