They had that in Morrowind, and Diablo. Both are excellent. You could also use filters, such as Armor, Weapons, Misc, etc, to reduce the amount of elements on-screen.
Lol that's what happened to the blacksmith from riverwood when a dragon attacked it randomly. It was badass but now I have one less weapons merchant :(
Not quite true! :) Apparently the "loot tables" can be edited, but only by one mod at a time. I've actually found weapons from that Third Era mod on quite a few enemies and the author appears to have carefully selected which weapons can appear on which level enemies as I've never come across a drop that didn't make sense.…
Yeah.. I was saddened that there were no throwing knives, crossbows, shurikens, spears, glaves, halberds, etc. In Oblivion. They could at least have a pole-arm weapon class.
Yeah, I don't remember any tutorials about it, and the enchanted weapons lets you know about it. For it being a big feature of the game, that's a bit of a slip-up.
