Hm... never knew about that, thanks for that tip! I'm not saving any max files with this tool though, just saving out jpgs now, so u can see whats in a max file when merging without having to open it and search through it manually and unhide layers/ect.
Hyperdesktop saves to a folder, has partial screenshots and instant annotations but more importantly immediately uploads to imgur.com and pastes the link in your clipboard. like this:

Yeah, I did that on purpose. You have to go to the Spinning Arrows Icon and Choose a folder / Library first. Otherwise where would it save the objects to ? :)
If anyone is interested, I created a script for Blender 2.65, Maya 2013, and Softimage 2013 called Version Save. Basically, every time you run the script, it will check how old the file is. If it is over 5 minutes old, it creates a new version. This should hopefully help prevent against lost work from corrupted files. Bind…
