Interesting... the maya bake seems to capture more colour information than both of the max bakes. Could we get the source files to test in other apps to see if its just max what does this?
Ahh, "Show Hardware Map in Viewport" does work. Interesting. But it doesn't work with the 3ds Max tangent map, and it really doesn't work with the 3ds Max world-space map. Even if I add an Edit Normal modifier.
