Just returned to this thread after 6 months of CAD work, truly a load of new marvelous things to behold! Feeling a bit rusty but it was great to model something again. [SKETCHFAB]0e75536e5be5422fbba2eb58f4a0d52a[/SKETCHFAB] 792 triangles
@Sync You should make the wheels 6-8 slices, because they are so small and the board is very low poly already. And the screws should be right above the wheels. Good object to start with, nice and simple.
Devil May Cry is more of a blast-and-slash game, starring the white-haired Dante. @paradise.engineering In modeling most of your anime characters, do you start them off with 6-sided cylinder, or box modeling?
chrizz handle 3 sides =6 tri, one top one bottom, and one blade with alpha could do it in 9 dunno how to do it in 8 dont worry bout it tho it looks tight as is -Woog
Nonsense. All 6 models in your hidden PF are totally appropriate for ingame use. Sure, the recent ones are a bit better, but that doesn't mean the older ones are bad. BTW, you're living in Kuala Lumpur now?
Found this thread and just had to contribute. There's just so many awesome models in here. Didn't see a Hoagie, so I did one. It took 6 hours, and has 516 tris and two 128 square maps
Put all of them in a 1024². Should be plenty. You could use 6*6 squares of about 150² pixels. That gives you 32 squares, 26 for the letters, 6 variations for the back. 150 pixels means they that you can fit 10 of them side by side on a Retina iPad and have them come up perfectly. A scrabble board is 15x15 or something, so…
Here's a little building I've been texturing for a collaborative project, it's not quite done. and I've got another 6 building to go, and a pile of some small vehicles, and a few bridges... I'll probably post those after I finish them.
long time without any post so... mesh+mapping+rigging+render made with Blender (just learned it) textures are made with Cosmigo Promotion 6 (Pixel art touch!) This time, it will be a "commercial" version of the nindendo ds homebrew game to run on the iPhone.
S_ource, Neodement, both are correct but you can only choose 1. 8 tris mirrored uvs, or 6 tris stretched. The benefits of my stretching is almost inconsequential here. Raz, the first 4 wood planks thank you Following with topic of stretching:
