Yes your material in max should have the same name as the vmt file. You cna use a Hex editor to check the smd or correct any problems if there are any. The big problem with source is that getting assets in game isn't as user friendly as it could be. -

Your anatomy is solid, but you are making her a little too muscular. If she is propping herself up her tricep would pop out more than her bicep. You need to work on softening the shoulder that is farther away her collar bone is looking a little weird. You wouldnt actually see it so defined. her neck is a little thick.… -

i am currently working on this mdoel and trying to achieve the maximum detail i can possible do with my fan art of jonnah hex, just recently did a massiv eupdate on teh clothing and learnt a little on folds and etc through burne hogarths clothing book. love any help i can get to achieve really high end detail!
