the photo thread normally seems to be bouncing around the top of the boards ... so i was thinking of a flickr group, not just for polycounters, but anyone who's job or interests are digital 2d and 3d. I bet there'd be plenty of funky photoshopping and post-processes going on any takers?
Hey guys! I'm Catherine, and I'm a 3D character artist. This is one of my recent project for the Riot Challenge here on Polycount. I stream work live on Twitch, so feel free to stop in there too and see what I'm working on! https://www.twitch.tv/catherineconsiglio
Hey Polycount, I'm trying to get that sweet DOTA 2 style gradient on some simple assets but for some reason the top and bottom faces aren't displaying the gradient correctly. I was wondering if anyone has experienced something like this before? Thanks in advance!
My most recent ProjectA stylized world war 1 airplane with handpainted textures and a little animation. The Sketchfab doesnt work for polycount for some reason , so for those who are interested: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/ww1-airplane-ninak-8164f15a619d4155bdea1d56b65228a8
Hello! I've started to study 3D a while ago, I'm quite noob-ish. I'm studing by myself and with the great help of some tutorials so far. I joined Polycount so I could improve, so yeah, all feedback and advice is really welcome. :)
Hey Everyone, I just recently graduated from UTD, and am now looking for a job. I thought I'd go ahead and put my portfolio on polycount for some comments and critiques as well as any potential employers. www.michael-sanford.com Thanks!
Hello! I'm trying to learn how to 3d, and I would appreciate any critique and/or feedback. Will continue to update thread, but might eventually add stuff besides buildings. 3626 tris, 512x512 texture (the window frames take up pretty mcuh of the total polycount).
I'm new on Polycount :) I've been working on this helicopter for a a bit over the past week or so concept's from http://www.kempart.com/kawp/ Here's what I got so far I need more practice in 3D so any feed back would be awesome.
I'm in the early stages of a 3D environment I plan on building in UDK. It's a sewer environment that I planned on making fancy and new, but that's not nearly as fun as gross and old. I'm new to Polycount and would really like to hear what people have to think of this idea. Critiques and feedback are always welcome!
Hey Polycount. Working on a 3d rendition based off an existing concept....this is 'Fish-hook Girl' from the talented Winona Nelson. Her concept can be seen here. Here are some WIP shots. Crits and comments welcome...want to try and hit the style as best I can.
