I made this 2D platformer a couple of years ago. It has 30 levels, five "themes", new monsters and/or gameplay elements every few levels, etc. Works in Windows and Linux (source provided, if anyone knows how to port it to MacOS X feel free).
jeez people, way to spoil the suprise! I wouldn't lump it in with a shock-flash cartoon since it isn't using any tricks like a full screen monster face popping up. I watched it twice and it made me jump twice, that's some good shit!
Heys guys, here's my little personal project. Based on this concept by Nick De Spain: https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/003/052/704/large/nick-de-spain-monster-flame-3.jpg Hope you like it! Artstation link: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/52K6E
Hey there guys, this is a work in progress of my latest uni assignment. We have to create essentially a monster in Zbrush which is derived from a modern day animal. Here is mine, please give me some feedback I am looking to improve this as much as possible before hand in. Which is in a few weeks.
Looks SICK. I would also maybe add some black scratches to make the paint itself more "worn", since it looks like a gun that has been used in battle and hit the ground, scraped etc. Anyways, ur a monster bro :D
Thanks Snow :D I wrote a little article about making one of the monsters with some work in progress shots of the sculpt and trying to go over the thought processes at every step to minimise wasted time. http://www.pandaknifetree.com/uncategorized/making-of-the-pig-boss/
The rendering took a while to complete I created 2 scenes one of Groucho standing and another with Groucho sitting at the bar, with a rather funny bar monster ! I usually split my renderings up into scenes giving the computer and me a brake between renderings.
I think that the guys like us(me, Bryan, monster) have to show to the beginners in maxscript several solutions(if there are several solutions) of one task, so they can learn something from each of the samples. Any of us also can learn something new. :)
Ninjas, you must mean Iron Maiden's Eddy ;) Awesome idea btw, I used those monster hot rods as ref for my own brutal rod years ago, always wished i had a team member to a character to go along with it.
I'm back! I'm devoting the next two months to improving my art so I'll be updating more often. Today's work: Frank's Monster by Eric Yan: concept I have to scrunch the face in some more and do some other adjustments
