^ To back up what he's said about modding, it's a big part of demonstrating capability. Awesome artwork doth not unemployment break; having content in a real, working game is also very important. Many of the people I have worked with have themselves fairly extensive modding/indie backgrounds. -

get the mod! JA2 gets so much more depth with the mods, its insane. its also my mosg bought game, u til steam i bought it like 5 or more times. every time i wanted to play, i never found the disk :D -

I could do with a "Game artist" friend. I was best friends with the developer of the Doom Reborn Mod but he has been consumed by that Mod and wont even go outside, That said, he is a good environment artist :) I'll add you on facebook if you send me some infos! -

Though that is true.. It wasn't in a particularly "professional" environment. Do you think it would be better to change the "Indie projects" stuff to "Hobby" or "Mod" projects? When sending my cover letter, though, I am making sure they get that I have worked mainly on hobby/mod projects. -

yea its an awesome place to work at, Im on the 2nd floor on true crime, while the upper floor is mod nation. I dunno if anyone from the mod nation team is on PC, but Twilson and a couple others are on the TC team. both floors are pretty similar, really comfortable place to work. -

I think you have no responses so far because no one knows which game this is for. Quake III maybe?? Wish I could help, but I never modded that one. Might help you to re-post this, including the name of the game you're trying to mod in the thread title. -
