Elven Archer - Sci Fi edition
*Latest Update* I'm planning to recreate one of my favorite mainstay fantasy characters, the Elven Archer. I am trying to achieve the same sort of ideas and silhouettes of an elven archer with sci fi themes. This is my concept so far, it was inspired by numerous sources including Starcraft, Halo, Final Fantasy and more. -

wow these are really sweet my only complaint is that maybe the weapon looks too similar to the starcraft 2 marine weapon, and combined with a similar bulky armor design, it kinda feels too related but thats being picky The dynamite of the one guy could be bone shaped that be a nice touch ; ) -

ace-angel: not sure what I'm meant to be seeing here. I dont see any breakdown of how he used tiles if he did. Cant really tell from the texture alone. I guess thats kind of the point. But these are single vehicles. I'm thinking of something far larger. Like an aircraft carrier vs a fighter jet. -

I was thinking of maybe modeling a mech or something? I thought of maybe modeling an M1 Abrams, but that'd be too generic maybe. I'd love to do a mech based on different concept arts, I just don't know where I can find good concepts. I'd love to model something from Starcraft's universe though. -

I figured out how to get my Starcraft door into UDK as well cause one of my other teacher pretty much said the same thing you did...Mental Ray looks pretty but it's useless in video games...personally I like it better in UDK...the ability to interact with it is awesome!!! anyways... this will be the before picture as I… -

I completely understand - I usually work with jet aircraft, and I end up having to work in an exploded mode to get any detail work in on the models with all of the moving components on them. i 100% Agree about Legos. The good old days is when you could make a house into a aircraft into some mutant robot. nowadays with so many prefab parts in legos you cant make crap except what they want you to make. @theMadArtist Wow man thats fricken awesome! very nice collection you got there -

i regret getting rid of my ds, i wanted it solely for the new advanced wars, i am enjoying the psp still, but advanced wars was such a good game, i hope fire emblem gets the same treatment on the ds, and i hear that Blizzard is considering doing a starcraft for the DS, I may have to get another one
