If memory serves it uses a position map and the UV direction maps to transform the sample points on the source map. not too complicated in principle but I'd expect it to struggle a bit with small UV shells
Freeze Transforms on the model that will be moving. The wire the Zero Position X, Y, or Z. This will move it on the local axis starting from the frozen position.
Worked on some of the building structures. Tweaked some of the camera FX. Quick transform animation on the flying ships & tweaked their particles. Animated Update
