Hi, I am trying to apply for Junior 3D Artist jobs all over Europe. I have a folder wit approx. 70 applications to most I never received an answer others were just declined without any feedback. There's also the "box trick"(I'm not sure if there is a better name for it). Where you create a box, align it to your old objects, then attach the problem object to it then delete the box element. That usually works for clearing out any bad data too. -

So even if I was able to texture this in Substance or Quixel, then it could still get screwed up in Max or when I apply the texture? If I have a bad UV then I would've thought it wouldn't do anything crazy like this... -

first error - you're probably exporting splines second error - bad transforms on things. refer to my previous post on separating the deformation rig from animation rig and you won't suffer these issues. i successfully managed a max to maya to max to engine pipeline using fbx as the backbone by doing this. -

The UVs look OK, and the modifier stack isn't bad. The material you have clicked on (white outline) is not being used in the scene, because it does not have triangles in the corners of the preview sphere. ITT - Hmm... At this point it might be advisable to do what Brome did...the old fashioned basement training.... Likewise when you do start in the industry...no one will likely be able to teach you or have the time other than explaining the pipeline. Take the money and buy what you need...
