I dont use references. I have no idea about my workflow I just produce the idea in my brain then I draw the shape then I do colours and details. I want to get better and colabs. I use a wacom tablet, I just press too hard I guess so it isnt very visible.
Ive also been trying to random draw, and just not care how much it sucks. I think that most of the pages on my notebooks are half full of drawings. Ill do a dump soon. Im learning a lot about painting In photoshop (and im working on an actual painting in art class). I so thankful for my tablet nowadays.
It will not work using the Input.gettouch() on non tablet/phones. Depending on the framework the monitor uses for the touches will determine how to get them. If it runs on the windows touch framework, you can use this: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#/content/4494 I have this working on a hp touchsmart pc, has it's own…
yeah MoP... that's what i am talking about... thank you very, very much... and no problem i have a Intuos 2 6x8 wacom tablet... i worked with that allready and i'll never miss it again...! so... are there some other techniques or are all doing it the same way? i am very iterested to learn more about this...
Ive done a lot of changes to the face and i think that im happy with it so i created a uvmap and applied flat colours to it just to see how its going to look. im going to start with texturing the face next. wait with the hair until i get my wacom tablet. Its going to be tricky to create the hair shapes with a mouse.
This was pretty awesome. Level 4 was too chaotic and I gave up, plus my hand was starting to hurt while using the tablet pen. It's a tense game so I was really clutching it. I liked how crazy it got at some points, a lot like bullet hell shmups. I made top 20 on the weekly leaderboards. :)
I have a question. Are there any tutorials out there for hand painting textures? I've been looking around for quite some time and all I've been able to find is tutorials that use alpha or some type of grunge brush. Or am I mistaken and most people consider hand painted textures as using photoshop tricks with a wacom tablet.
well who cares about the dream thing, in the future this may be the new way in which digital artists work! Strap on some headgear, boom, insta-art. 1 step closer to the "make art" button! Maybe we wont even need keyboards, mice and tablets anymore either. Just sit there and control the OS with your mind alone.
I am looking forward to seeing you there!!! I am trying to get wacom to give up some tablets as door prizes - hopefully will hear something back soon. I posted my first attempt at drawing some Dota 2 item concepts recently. Now that I've gotten practice drawing with a tablet and had a look around other artists' work, I think I'm ready for the serious business. If you want me to sketch up something for you, or if you want one of the concepts in this thread, contact me…
