Hey all, I've looked around and can't find this link I saw here awhile back that was a compiled list of artists here that contained the work they could show on released games/projects. It was just links to pimping threads. Have I just overlooked it or does it still exist?
I wouldn't be surprised if every launch was staged and every person working the controller was an actor (especially the slick looking guy who failed to launch), but it's pretty cool. Getting back to the game, I've played it quite a bit, I like it, I just don't understand its popularity. To me it seems like a lot of people…
Anyone have a sweet pinch brush setting they wouldn't mind sharing that would make the Zbrush pinch tool work like the Mudbox pinch? I snagged some brushes from Brian Silvia to make the brushes more like Mudbox and now I'm trying to fix the pinch tool. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks! B
Guys, Let's not freak out here. I get annoyed when blanket statements are made about companies. Quite frankly it all depends on the culture of your specific studio and who you work directly work under. I don't know what choices that poster on Reddit made, good or bad. But if you're given the opportunity and you make the…
First of all..your portfolio. First thing that sticks out to me...is that you only have one piece of work in here. I'm sure that is probably the first and only portfolio piece you have at this time which is fine, but I think it would be unlikely a company will hire you from just one piece like this. I'd work on some more…

I think with freelancing not going too well, has more to do with outsourcing also. Like no doubt companies like Virtuous have great artists, but its like an assembly line and there's a good reason their rates are way cheaper than what it would cost to commission the same from an artist local to the studio. This is where…
Hi! Tbh I'm not sure how okidoki's example can help add noise to animation curves, I mean with some technical knowledge you could hack together some kind of node network that would grab a position of a point from a noise texture and use it to drive a position of a controller on an animation curve, but I shudder to think…
I like the insecurity character. The texturing looks like Life is Strange so nice work there. I'm not a fan of that black stroke on the character though. Life is strange has soft pastel colors. The black line just makes it look too harsh. I also like the red hat more. The violet one is too matchy-matchy with the rest of…
