      1 you can use soft selection. In 2017 there is a dedicated brush for this. 2 from the editor options /prefs you can set map and grid size

      Right click on the Snaps Toggle button to bring up Grid and Snap settings. Go to the Options tab, and turn on "Use Axis Constraints". Hopefully that should fix it. :)

      This might help? Assuming you are working on a grid with tiles and want to go one unit up and one unit over. The magic number is right around 78.6.

      further layout with modular pieces. Getting the proportions together. I'll be taking it into UDK eventually so I'm trying to keep everything to powers of 2 and an 8X8 grid.

      Hey, you're right, I made a warped grid and corrected some stuff, I think I'll try to detail more of the sutff before jumping to color.
