Answered: UE4 Megascan asset not taking textures.
I'm not a pro in UE4 but I still know how to make basic shader, and I did so with my 100% created asset with zero issues. I now downloaded some rock and tree from megascan using the Unreal exported from bridge, but when I apply the albedo to the shader the model is brown... I really don't understand why. -
Anything helpful in a new Photoshop release?
If people still use Photoshop at all. I am not quite sure why I am still paying the subscription myself. Patch tool works better in Affinity Photo. Content aware move is an unusable crap. Alex, what I do is bake the tiling high poly to a square plane in xNormal and once I get that normal map, I bring it into Crazy bump (I used Crazybump in school but never really knew how to use it to it's full potential). Really nice work so far... I feel the biggest let down is the lighting... I believe this touches up on everyone else's critiques... I feel that the lighting is really flat and because it's so evenly lit it plays a part in why all your emmissive signs are fighting for attention... I'd even go as far as to push that fog… -

ENVIRONMENT ART MENTORSHIP 2020: Reverse of the previous shot. While the camera makes its way up the river, figured a side shot of the banks could be useful, filled with huts, docks, treehouses, rope bridges and boats. That looks amazing! Im really enjoying the blockout. This is gonna look insane when you are through. The shapes look alot like you are mixing Howling fjord and Stormwind from WoW. I also am seeing a slight roman style with the Aqueduct-like bridge, or maybe thats just me. Great job and MOAR PLZ.
