WindowsXP service pack2 lameness
I installed this junk last week and it was actually kind of cool, the whole security center thing, but service pack2 f*cks up my mose sensitivity making it impossible to use Maya. I thought my mouse had just worn out but it turns out it is service pack2, I have uninstalled the service pack and now my mouse works fine… -

Welcome! Overall it’s a really nice looking scene. :) One thing that stood out to me is the focal point. Right now, the bridge and the stone lantern both draw a similar amount of attention, so it’s a bit unclear where the viewer’s eye should settle first. You could maybe push one of them more as the primary focus, either… -

Look on your timeline at frame 456 for both the Clouds and Snow layers. Both of them have a keyframe at that point which stops all motion, but the layers continue on until frame 500, where the movie loops back to frame 1. I believe Jonny is referring to the seam between columns - it's apparent between each horizontal pair, but most obvious in the columns between the two torches. It looks like the normals aren't quite lining up on the adjacent faces along the seam. The two most likely culprits are vertices which haven't been welded after the… -
