Hello , how can I do to avoid deforming borders when applying modifications oan a mesh that has a open side? Ofted with Zbrush when I apply alphas or inflate or other brushes the borders get modified, I would like to preserve those in order to not change the general borders of the basic first level model.
Should work if you press just Backspace (so as to not remove the border verts) instead of CTRL+Backspace. Or with all the edges selected, switch to border mode, deselect everything. Or select border, invert edge selection.

It is decent, but if I am not mistaken lightmap isn't affected by the borders in Unreal, I believe that's what I read on their site - and I cannot get the layout to ignore the border overlapping, so it creates spaces around the border.
