Wow.. Beautiful work, absolutely love it <3 I did this maybe a month ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOuYAhlhdtk It's got some issues and it's a little long and maybe doesn't evolve as much as I'd like it to, but if you have a sec could you check it out and give me some feedback? Cheers guys :)

You guys are rocking again :D Fightpunch, love those mechs! gilesruscoe, you're improving fast :) Started working on the Arenanet Arttest, a deadline makes sculpting so much more exciting :) ps: I've created a thread, so any comments are welcome over here http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106251 <3
Thanks man. You were right, I checked the tiling and they were about 3' when they should have been 1'. I made that change along with fixing the color change on the background trees which was suggested me also. That render is sweet by the way, maybe a little DoF heavy, even for a close up like that.
@Anderson, that's looking good. The biceps look like thin bands and could use some width, and they also appear to be lacking an insertion point under the shoulder. But really looking good. Still working on the likeness. It's getting better, but I'm missing something big I think. I see the problem more in the 3/4ths view.

Glad I could help! :) I actually have another image of the floor texture. I made 3 textures that tile with each other so they can be used together to avoid that annoying tiling effect.... I also made some geometry tiles to go with it to break up the floor flatness a little for lower view port angles.
