Got the body formed, base pieces for cloth layers on, and touched up the face a bit. Still need the heals, shoulder seam lining, gold chains, second details...sigh haha, I think i hit proportions alright-ish though; have to change the breast size. Feel free to C&C so far if you want! -

The Link button is seen with tutorials made with Suite 1.8 or earlier. Color ID assignment is now done inside of 3DO: SHIFT+C+LMB on a color opens the Smart Material browser to immediately assign a Smart Material to individual colors. Okay problem solved. For anyone running into the same error, the Mental Ray plugin can be manually installed. When the Autodesk_Maya_2014_dlm.sfx.exe download is opened, it extracts all installation files to C:\Autodesk\. In that folder, navigate to C:\Autodesk\Autodesk_Maya_2014_dlm\x64\MentalRayPlugIn. Started working on Goro! Colours are merely a test, still working on the shading, getting all the shapes and anatomy right... as "right" as you can get a dude with four arms anyway! Final tricount is 671, comfortably within the "700-ish" limit I'd set for myself. Texture is 256x256 for now, but will be shrunk to 128x128… -
