Thanks man :) Yes, i did the tape in 3ds Max and later sculpted it in Zbrush alongside some damages in other parts of the gun. I have this screenshot so you can see it Thanks for commenting!
make sure it's a big hammer, and wear protective goggles :poly122: i threw a compaq off a second storey balcony to commemorate y2k and it did more damage to the ground than the case, so swing hard:poly127:
Good work dude, only a matter of time untill you get a gig. Whats the environment for the model? Indoors or outdoors? I like the plaster damage, maybe push some grime around the exposed areas.
So I did some tests and it seems the damage you take is tied to the velocity you travel at, and it ramps up quite quickly to the point that you can quickly die if you don't pay attention.
Ok, those are pretty bad. I'd just be upset if someone called someone or a company out on plagiarism without any proof. It doesn't take much to get people to start talking, and that can be pretty damaging.
Hey guys just wanted to share the new thing i just finished, its a splash damage art test, i noticed many ppl doing them atm so decided to give it a go :)
It's looking really good! I love the texture you gave the material of the hat. I think it really blends in with the characters style. Have you considered adding small bits of damage on the hat to show it's age?
Most of the chest armor is modelled in now, just need to do the stuff right in the middle of his chest. Once i have everything where i want it i'l go over and sculpt a damage pass.
Yeah, nice try. Also make sure that the edges to the wood look slightly damaged (like on my model shot) so that it looks more lifelike. ATM it looks like polygons, hard edged ones.
Full auto SPAS :) AFAIK, there's 4 shotguns. There are 2 pump actions (I have no idea of the difference between these, though - maybe one has more damage, range or pump speed?), and 2 full autos.
