Texture set someone advertised earlier?
Hey people, Someone on Polycount was advertising a $15 (or something around there) decal / texture'y set. I'm ready to purchase, throw money at this person in exchange, but I can't for the life of me find the thread. Hook a Uly up? :( I'd be eternally grateful if someone could point me towards that thread. -

Kriss Vector Gen 2 (Game-res)
Moving forward with my weapon set, this time it was the turn of the submachine gun. This time I based the model on the very popular and futuristic-looking Kriss Vector Gen 2. I included a number of attchments; a foregrip, a peq-15 flahsligh/laser, back-up sights and a reflex sight. -

For a community game project I modelled a toilet and the bottom of the toilet was not closed, because it would add on about 15 tris, and nobody would see that because the bottom of the toilet would be resting on the floor. If they're a legitimate business they won't bat an eyelid at paying you 15-20 an hour If they're not then you don't want to work for them Long term Contract work should pay 130% of an acceptable wage for a permanent job Short term should be at least 200% -
Re: 3DS Max 2021.3 viewport selection issues
How can it be that broken in a 2021+ release though? I have used Max for like 15 years before moving on - I do not recall any situation where it would have behaved this inept and I've seen my fair share of screwups with this program. -
Re: How much time you spent on gathering references images before starting a project as a modeller?
I would do fast search at the beginning around 15 min. And if i have troubles to find the right shapes i search on the go. There is no fixed time for ref search. If you get ref material or a painted concept from design you dont need more.
