Hi pedro8999, Some of the shapes you've got there are pretty cool. I'd look at controlling the eye with value and position of some of the focal elements. For example if you apply some rough ambient occlusion to the image, the recessed wall on the left could be in slight shadow. The main 'money shot' looks like it's either…
Hey guys Chances are you've seen the article I uploaded last week '15 Tips To Improve As An Artist'. Following on from this I've just uploaded my latest article which is in a similar vein. Hopefully everyone finds it useful. You can either view it on my website or view it below Feel free to further discuss this topic…
Issue with this approach is that i have to create new shape for every image, what if i make a shape and if i want to change image that inside the shape there is no way to do it, but try to reproduce same shape with new image from scratch. I need 3d Model to fast swap different images and have them stretch automatically to…
I would go with something big or custom-like car/truck-inspired and something fun to sculpt. http://bootsnallonline.co.nz/images/AT023.JPG http://www.manufacturer.com/cimages/product/Buynow.www.wholesalecentral.com/0401/x/38831.jpg…
I do not see anything wrong with your texture result. If you want to bake other objects into the same texture make sure you uncheck clear (render settings -> Bake -> clear). Alternatively you can combine your individual texture bakes in an image editor. Black is not a correct normal map color, but if you really want that…
the 16 bit image is a new feature of photoshop cs, it did not exist in 7, 8bit is usually what you want to use, .jpg probably does not support 16bit images and thus you can't save to that format with such a high bit depth. I think a 16bit image is a high dynamic range image perhaps? I could be wrong but I think it allows…
Hello I have nikon camera, i take picture in Nikon Raw format (NEF i think). These i import into Lightroom (5.2 i think) where i "develop them" - e.g. exposure, shadows, highlights etc. manipulation as needed. THen i export them into TIF 8 bit (or sometimes 16 bit, but usually 8bit TIF with compresion (LZW i think). The…
Having some issues trying to figure out how to get a decal onto my mesh. I have a metal paint canister that I want to get a label wrapped around the middle of it, but still expose the metal on the top and bottom - similar to this: The label is paper, just like this one above. My projection image is also worn and torn up…
I see that some parts appear shiny, and I figured out that it's the HDRI light causing that brightness. However, I'm not sure how to turn off the lighting from the HDRI so that it only provides the background image without illuminating the environment. Do you have any tips?
You asked for it. Remember you can also ignore this post. If you did not appreciate the response. Long story short; its very cold & mechanical but i don't see much cuteness & fun factor, (for me). Think a stylized approach to this kind of design would've spoken louder than a startwars rolling bot (one of the many they seem…
