Here is my Dark Wood Ivern Concept as you can tell Ivern has been created in the shadow isles and it has taken its toll on him, his wood has darkened and his soul has become haunted, Daisy is the same the rocks from the isles which she was made are old broken held together by cursed magic.
I really loved the magical and whimsical look of Christina Sewell’s staff. I learned a lot from this project, especially when it comes to time management and rendering. Made with Maya, Zbrush, Adobe Substance 3d Painter, and Unreal Engine. Referenced from: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/m09A1 Christina Sewell:…
I'm preparing to render out some AO magic and can't find out where, or if its possible, to render transparency masks with the AO or if it can only render the mesh itself. The scene (DW2 stage) has a lot of vegetation which means alphas on planes, I'd like to render the AO with it omitting the transparent areas. Anyone have…
Hello everyone, I have been drooling over the awesome artwork in this forum and decided to do the acid test, see how much our artwork can improve. So take of the feathery gloves, don't hold any punches because we want this game to look as awesome as it plays. Gone mad on the land: The elefant with a magic hat upgrade The…
Winter is coming ! I was inspired by differents winter skins and pictures from Riot like Hemer and Ziggs chrismas skin. Also by the map of the "howling abyss". So i would like a tower half destroyed without enought magic/power inside to fire by itself. With minions on the top, firing with a kind of catapult or a canon.…
L-Systems? I didn't hear anywhere else mentioned they might include this soon. I have only seen Maxime doing his magic in Bifrost and made his own thing. If it true then that's really great! That one will be super interesting for sure...it can be used to make a lot of very interesting things.
Do what you do over and over gain for years. There is no real magic its just practice. You are on the right track. Even our best modelers here are deleting objects and building it new from the ground up. If you failed the first time you learn that that was the wrong way. Next try.
@Billy Yeah, I thought so about the scratches. Just thought that maybe there's some magic trick to automate the process and make them look natural :) @leleuxart That flamethrower looks really great! So, does that color gradient go into the specular map? Or do you have to adjust other maps as well?
I like it, great job! At this point I think you could try playing with more interesting spell and environment effects. Don't go overboard of course, but I think a little more wouldn't hurt to try. Morgana's magic looks a little weak compared to her pose and action. Good luck!
Coming along really nicely dude. Loving the crazy warp hole thing. I've had Ndo2 for a while now but have only just started integrating it into my workflow. I have seen several awesome props textured as a result of Ddo recently. I must invest and try this magic out...
