Nice sculpting. I hardly remember anything from that movie, but he seems like a pretty cool character so far. The wrinkles look really good in some areas, but overall it's a little too much for me. His clothes are also quite plain looking, and I think you can make things more interesting by sculpting in the physical seams…
Lookin awesome man! Only crit I can offer is that I'm not quite sure how to read the shoulder design. The silhouette looks good but it seems kind of random that the cloth would spike up like that. If the shoulder pads are going through those holes on the shawl maybe they could be metal instead? Or adding some kind of metal…
Thanks for the response guys. I'm not too concerned with the clothing wrinkles and incidental detail like that. It'll all by cloth in the finals. I'll probably go through and do a nice fully modelled and textured version for my portfolio once I'm done here, but design is all I'm look at for the moment. Spent a few hours on…
A little update on my zombie biker. Since with the previous update everybody said the zombie was too buff, I redid the body, and some of his clothing to get a better/more zombie like feel. For my graduation i had to deliver game-res clothing only, therefore I didn´t retopo the body yet. Neither did I do the biker cut and…
Try a different cloth material. Maybe something like leather/denim/wool for the sleeves, anything that is pretty thick. You can try adjusting the collision thickness as well. Maybe try playing around with pressure as well, so it pushes out a bit as well. You can also try to freeze everything except the arms, the elastic…
Texture wip: Wire: Leviathan: Thanks, I turned those edges :) hawken: I agree, the hair will animate like a cloth rig, there is enough geo for folding+waving in there. Nizza_waaarg: I was going to bake it into polystrips, but decided to go with the cloth-like rig. MoP: hehe, I'll have to get permission for an sdk :P I'm…
Somethings wrong wth the face. I think the mouth is too wide, and there are no cheekbones. There's suposed to be a slight depression between ur cheek bone and your eyes. Also, hair is bad. The model is very good. But you need work on the texture work. Make his cloths tell a story. Where has he been? How bout some tatoos,…
The deep cheek creases and fake eyelashes (overly dense and uniform with abrupt ends at sides) make her look much older then in the show (maybe late 40's to upper 50's). Also the goggles in the show have targeting reticles, where here they seem to be large phillips screws instead. And the tiling cloth texture is far too…
Generally the process involves using a skin weighted/rigged model that you would animate to go from T-Pose to whatever pose you're looking for. Create the garments in MD on the T-Pose model and use an animation transition to simulate the clothing deformations into the final pose. A decent guide for that here:…
Thanks for the reply, i agree the shoulder are poorly topologised i will attempt to correct this but due to the clothes needing to be interchangable within the unreal enginei may not be able to make it as good as some of the works on the pages you linked to. The eyes i hadnt even thought about so thanks for bringing that…
