I checked out your site and can't see a breakdown/tutorial of the VFX you did here. Is it still being prepared coz I'm really interested to see how you went about this.
Ok so, lots of updates regarding the VFX today! I think it looks a lot better now. Also some textures were polished as well. Hopefully nearing the finish line soon. :smiley:

Yes, I read the ShaderX paper a few weeks back when it was discussed on the Max beta forums. It's definitely inevitable. Vfx R&D to in-house production tools eventually become industry standard.

Although the article mostly discusses VFX used in film, a lot of the information can be translated to effects used in real time. so yeah, what the title says....I'm curious where do you even start looking!? ( other than the freelance section here) I have no problem locating and finding websites of gaming or vfx companies for fulltime work but when it comes to freelance/contract based I am stumped.
