I hear they have a secret page for concept art for a celestial steed. If you want it, it's $25, which you have to pay online, and then wait in a virtual queue for 3 days before they e-mail you the page in a PDF file.
I think ill try out substance and xnormal and just search around for dif work flows. i just feel like the way I have been doing it in the past is to time consuming and makes me want to cry
what game engine are you planing to go into? BSP comes in many formats. T3D(i think) for the Unreal engine 2.x, .MAP for Quake and a couple of others, .DIF for Torque. All are binary space partition (BSP) formats.
thanks! I think im going to replace the textures with some hand drawn stuff, gota see how the style goes, idk if i would want that in my portfolio since the textures are mostly just copy/paste photos.
Yer i've been working on a hk g36c in my own time, i might hammer that out so i have some more hard surface modeling on my folio and then start of completely dif character with a good mix
There is a help guide. I wrote it (damn, that was a long time ago). It's stored on fileplanet, but I can't check, because I can't log in. http://www.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?/pla...nstcontrols.zip If no dice on that, I'll stick up a pdf for it later.
Here are some renders of the hoplite character I made about a month ago. Modeled with Maya and Zbrush. Textured with Substance Painter. Marmoset for realtime rendering. Artstation - https://www.artstation.com/artwork/XkoRl Idle animation - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnRSSfBIpmY Turntable…

Well the metal doesnt look like metal. I cant tell you how to fix it because idk your material setup, but i suggest starting with lowering the roughness and see what you get. Also increase metallic, at least on the edges.
