Made the support for the 5th wheel, I'm not entirely happy with how it turned out but it looks alright. I might change the side rails and remove the sprockets. I played around with the material for the support a bit to try and make it look like cast metal but I'm still a novice when it comes to materials in Modo.
may the fourth be with you! the gungan race deserve some love :) yes, screw you! I loved gungans when I was a kid. I don't do scifi often so be gentle :P one more: One more to fit the last painting :P it's already the 5th so.. revenge of the fifth!
Monoprice sells decent tablets for 1/4th the price of a wacom. I had one for years and although I like my wacom better, the mono price one functions nearly identical for 90% of stuff. And the drivers aren't 1/10th as bad as wacom drivers, basically foolproof. There are other brands as well.
Repete: why post this here for Wolfenstein rather than other games? I don't count the RPG & Enemy Territory as sequels so this is just the 5th major installment of the game to come out in it's 21 year history. It's also a single player only game which most publishers see as a big risk.
I agree, that does not look right. What tutorial are you referring to? To see your normal map in the viewport you need to turn on hardware map for the material. Its the 4th from the right button in the compact material editor mode. Click and hold button to change it from standard map. Click it to turn it on.
1st thumbnail looks like Thanos ^^ definetely not Taric material ^^ 2nd looks too much like Braum's splash 3rd is dynamic and really cool. 4th is good and definetely Taric-esque, but I feel like the layout could be a little better. Maybe some planets or shooting stars in the foreground on the left ?
Read thru the links here, if those edges are getting in the way, you'll find some ways to clean it up a bit. http://wiki.polycount.net/Subdivision_Surface_Modeling Also don't forget you can use floating meshes for indents like this. Inside the 5th link, see poopinmymouth's first post. Mind blown?
Wow, I've been playing for a few days only to find out what I thought was the game was the noob area! The PVP really feels like some fast and furious deathmatch action, I keep getting my but kicked though. My character is 'Ysgalon Levias' a 7th level Mesmer/Elementalist
Seems I am flying down to Austin, Texas on March 19th and am there until the 23rd. I don't have all the exact details just yet. But I'll be busy with interviews at Sony Online Entertainment all of Thursday, and will be shown around by a realtor one of the other days. If anyone down there is up for a drink or two, please do…
my fav way to render my HP hard surface models is by using the shellac material wth 2 omni's and a skylight. but whenever i do it to one of my busted rock models, it looks strange. any preferred ways to show off a HP model for an organic object like busted stone? examples and tuts would be nice...
