arrangemonk... all I have to say is... I'm offended! :P Warriah, I am really digging this venom man. I know someone said make his head bigger, but his smaller head is definatly growing on me (ugh that reads bad). The 3 toes are bugging me just a bit, but screw it... this shit looks great :) Is this for the comicon…
I saw something like that on HardOCP.com and a few other sites. But the one I was talking about went on your head... ::OCZ BRAIN DEALIE:: Made by OCZ. I didn't have a spare $300 to test it out. And really, if I came home with one of these my wife would stab me in the balls.
Still on this project! Just took a small break after realizing that I didn't really progress. Thank you birb and Panda for you replies. It really helped me to realized the current state I am in. So I went back to the basics. Studied Zbrush like an maniac and read a book and really tried to figure out anatomy better. It was…
Just had a chance to read through all the replies. Thanks so much to everyone, it's great to get a perspective from people in different situations, and it's pleasing to know the the advice is generally the same. I do apologize for getting all personal and blog-like on PC where I understand it doesn't belong. I think this…
Hey there! Good to see you continuing with this. For the first video: -The movement on the sword swing forward seems to follow a weird arc. I'd suggest bringing it more from the side than up, and drag it behind the rest of his turn. -The dude grabbing the blade should anticipate grabbing the sword more. He barely does more…
I haven't read this whole thread yet, but AMD recently announced they no longer consider intel a competitors, AMD is moving towards mobile chips and such, because intel is so far ahead of them in desktop processing. Another note, is there is little performance difference between the slightly cheaper sandy bridge then the…
Thanks for the critique. After playing around with the face a bit, I can see what Meloncov means about the face looking a little too old. I believe that have something to do with the overall sharpness, so I tried to soften the features and make the eyes a little less pointy. Fixing the lighting has been some real trouble.…
It's been awhile, but I've finally worked on this model a bit more. I was busy with another project (perhaps I'll post it in the future). Anyway, I've decided shift my focus onto another actress since I don't think Mila Jovovich really fits the body type of this character. I chose instead Lauren Cohan from The Walking Dead…
Can i allow polygons to "end up" inside the character? Like when i make hair i want the hair to be close to the head.. which makes some parts go inside the head.. i heard that it's bad.. ( idk if it only apply to 3d printing ). This drive me nuts.. since i try to avoid it at all costs and it limits me greatly
I can relate to your situation. After being a 3d artist for one and a half years, I was promoted to art lead/art director (3rd on the project...). It can be overwhelming at first, and you will make some mistakes as you feel things out, but that's all part of learning how to lead. Kaburan and the others have already given…
