i dont see this as a big deal.. i am not rich or anything.. but the price in games hasent really gone up any in its ENTIRE history.. the atari 2600 debut price was close to 300 bucks.. thats about $600 in 2005 prices.. i remember paying 45 bucks for battletoads on the NES.. if you just look at how inflation has affected… -

The SSD difference is night and day. You'll slap yourself for not doing it sooner. As for sizes and costs, it depends on what you plan on loading on it. Mine is 30gig, but I keep it really light, with only the core programs I use on it (max/zbrush/photoshop/udk). Everything else goes on the 7200 SATA drive, including games… -

Maybe a hybrid jet... The most thrust a plane needs is during takeoff where the power of an electric motor still can't touch the power of a combustion engine (although they are getting close). Maybe a set of assist jets could help get it up to altitude, then the rest of the trip is mostly maintaining and gliding..… -
