I am talking everywhere not just the games Movies, VFX, TV, Toys, drawings common man, When it's games that use it, it's shooters due to their engines...
I'm playing the demo now and this shit is so fun! Congrats to the sound and vfx teams. This might seem weird but this team needs to make a robocop game
i'd be surprised that a games job specifically requested a demo reel rather than just a portfolio of work. in vfx or animation for sure but not for games jobs really.
Some high poly shots of my dude here. Model is based on a concept from https://www.artstation.com/drewhill. CC/Feedback always welcome. Goals this project is to up the quality of my overall presentation and to include some VFX into the final game res.
A couple of VFX artists with a pretty cool project. They're even transforming their own home as a set, for some of the live action shots. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1371460348/the-ningyo
tweaked the last few keys to adjust that ease-in. also changed the parameters of the backplate and added a little wobble motion to mimic parallax. and with that, this project is done, at least until I get the itch to play with vfx stuff lol
Do all places offer internet at their workstations? I've worked at a few vfx shops (tv and movies) that limit the internet connection to only a few select pc's (for security reasons) but i'm not sure how game studios are.
I've used Vray for rendering lightmaps then imported them into Unity. I use Mantra for rendering sprite sheets used as vfx elements in Unity and Unreal. I've also used Blender Cycles to render sprite sheets.
