More hand work this morning. I gathered up references for rugged hard life hardworking hands. I am surprised a bit on how "inflated" they look in comparison to the average desk working hands.
Learning Blender - A step by step beginner Tutorial for 3D Artists - YouTube this video has made the transition from maya doable for me since it goes over most of the operations you'd need and shares some plugins to make it more familiar to autodesk users. Also goes over changing the keybinds to make it better, blenders…
For an idea , its basically everything that surrounds me. Sometimes I am walking and thinking " wouldn't it bee cool if a giant monster breaks from the ground and start his mess?" ( animation wise , I'm not crazy :P). Sometimes is the acting choices from actors , animations, camera angles and sports. Like when @KielFiggins…
lol, gray i was writing that exact post... even the comments about carpet. One of the trickiest things to get a handle on with paint is "how you get dem colors." You don't have to think about it on the computer, but seeing, feeling, and watching color "happen" with your hands is an amazing beast. I would suggest starting…
Thanks for the the kind words Vig! Sorry about taking so long to get back to this, got busy here lately and wanted to get things squared away before I posted again. King-Vitamin: I didn't really mess with his posture, but it seems I could fix it after rigging him. Thanks for pointing it out though. I am going to try to get…
If you're using xNormal to bake out these normals, it's going to have a hissy fit about those duplicated meshes and stacked UVs. Adding light color to your spec can be really helpful if you know exactly what kind of lights are all around your object keeping in mind that light, bounces off objects and that spec is reflection, it can help you color a jumble of UV pieces quickly. It's not so helpful for characters because they encounter a bunch of…

I have also noticed noone to my knowledge has used it for say a forest or houses/buildings,only characters, props and weapons. Also, can one import animations into marmoset cause…
In my experience, Ai tools make sense to use as a shortcut for small bits of menial work. As long as the task is well-defined with plenty of decent-quality source material for the model to pull from. And only if I am able to filter the output using my own specific subject-matter expertise. It's great at handling the…
Welcome to a serious journey of becoming a digital painter. It's going to be a long and hard task, one that I've dabbled in but never taken too seriously, despite my wants. I have one goal in mind, become proficient at digital painting so I can transfer that skill to 3D texturing and concept art. This sketchbook is being…
