@capone - Looking at the texture it looks like you could just use multiple instances of lines / sloped down points and then make that edgy direction with the directional warp node - try inputting something very contrasty into the line like a cube. Well brink is an exception in that list. But there does seem a strong bias towards labeling anything cartoony and colourful, specifically something done in a anime style, as innovative. I don't find these styles innovative. They're just a style that doesn't get much exposure because it doesn't suit the mood of most games.… -
