Jestersheep (WIP Spacebox Project)
So this is a gun concept I am working on, at the front of the gun where the planes are will be electricity (much like a starwars pod racer), and a projectile will shoot out of the mid component through the laser and onwards to it's prey. Feedback and crits before I UVWMap and Texture this? -

My top movies, not in any specific order ;) -the Truman Show -the Green Mile -the Shawshank Redemption -all of the other "obvious ones" like starwars and Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones etc. way easier than making a top 50 :P. -

Maybe a laser pistol (got starwars on my mind now.. :) ) or another slightly more complicated object could be the next best step up for you. Right now you have some box modeling and cylindrical modeling going on which is a good start, and something like a pistol would help you on starting to bring those different forms… -

The only BAD things about the 5200 are shaders and shadows. The FX 5200 supports DX9 shaders 2.0 and it is really shitty at handling them. So if you turn off shaders and shadows the card runs great. I ran StarWars galaxies at max detail fine as long as i had shaders turned off (didnt make the game look any different… -

The term sci-fi in regaurds to telling you what type of movie something is. All sci-fi's are really just other catagorys but in some hightech world. 2001 is a drama and starwars in an action adventure they are nothing alike yet both are called sci-fi...
