Well depending on your system specs, 12m isnt really that big of a deal. Maybe in zbrush? I dont think you'de have too many problems rendering normals in XN for example with a 12m mesh.
That's incredibly ridiculous, and will never pass. It's just another example of a small minority of idiots with a big voice getting a lot of coverage. The majority of people would never agree to something like this. Or at least that's what I hope...
I really am going to revisit this, I just have to find an evening this week to devote to it. Thanks a ton Eric/whargoul/malcolm/pixelrambo. I'll be incorporating this new info and making a better example image.
Actually.. in yer move tool example only the normal direction ( x axis in dis case ) is aligned to the component selection. alignment for move and rotate from a single edge... ( 1rst make cool button above )
metroid prime hunters is a good example of vertex lightning. most of the textures are pretty light greys and then colored+lighted with vertex colors. i wouldn't suggest this for charcters or game models, but for static environment it's a good option.

Hey guys, I wonder if there's a node based or any softwares that create a fractal particle, or billboard easy maker? For an example, smoke set, fire set, etc. I don't want to test the particles, I want just to create a type of particle/image. Thanks
