the Wii will lok like shite. i just bought a 42" a few weeks ago and the will looked like ass, the 360 looked great though. granted, I did not have the compnent cables for the Wii and I did for the 360 and PS2. It feels good to buy a big tv doesnt it I had a 19" for like 6 years
I´m 19 years old and tried to get an intership but no bigger 3d related company which makes sucessfull games in Germany wanted me for a 6month internship. Maybe you have to ask if you don´t have to be too young to get an intership?! [or the Art that was made sucked and sucks too much in their eyes.]
it was cheap at that point and i had to spend some taxes :) paid like 25% off and together with the 19% i get on work equipment as a freelancer and other taxstuff i kinda thought it would be a nice thing to have. At this point the intuos4 series didn't exist already and i wanted to exchange my old intuos2 with something…
yeah leviathan that was honestly a bit pointless. I must admit I'm a little jealous too. I didn't get into modeling or any art whatsoever until I was around 19 years old, when I finally said hey I'll go do this for a living. just keep at it and you will be LEAGUES ahead of your peers.
You are already 20? Ur getting old, hurry up and get a job! I was 19 getting in where I wanted. I fit in quite nicely, im sure you can to if you take it easy. (Im having a blast with the little older work buddies no problems.) Go for it! Im 21 now btw. :)
Assuming that you never have had one, get a REAL job. That way, when the 19 year-old cunts you work with start whining about how "working in the game industry is hard and/or sucks" you will actually have some perspective on what doing a job that actually does suck for a living is really like.
New update 19/04/2009 Listened to you guys and decided to put more loops on his deformation areas, took some polys out, some in, etc. Also, moved the arms a bit higher since a friend noticed the neck looked weird. I think its uv time. c&c welcome!
I don't believe you are missing much, dunno why someone wouldn't just buy UE4 and cancel its like 19 bucks, has all the same PBR, and you get to learn and own a fully formed game engine..... seems a bit odd to me someone would go with marmoset now UE4 is live.

"[...] where the starting salary is 15CAD/hr for QA testers and 19$/hr for 3d artists. That comes to an average of 30K to 40K annually. And these are the bulk of hires, so how is the figure so inflated?" Well, this could also mean that people who are *not* QA testers and 3d modelers are much better at negotiating their…
