I agree with the guys above me! Tennis you have super cool stuff. Checked your site, some of it seems to be old (Max 7 :poly121:) but still I really like it. I have two questions for you. How long does it take to make those pixel art models, from modeling to texturing? And secondly, how do you make good unwraps for those…
You're absolutely right. I'll improve my methodology. One small issue I had, also. I was working with Paint Tools Sai and GIMP and they seem to bleed over the edges. Even if is set something a 1x1 pixel. If I draw within that selected border it still goes off the edges. Any good program to use for clean, perfect pixel or…
Well, yes. Every pixel on a texture takes a bit of time to draw, but the important thing is this: Normally you shoot a ray out of the camera into the scene to hit the first polygon it finds. It then looks up which polygon that is, and which texel (texture pixel) on it the ray hits. Then it displays that pixel (and it does…
Great work poop, it looks sweet in 3d. JGcount that's wonderful. Please share wires and texture sheets Love the viking dude Delko, particularly all pixellated.
thanks Maph! Yep, I did the texture the old way :) though I "cheated" a little with some gradients for shading, but the main detailing is all hand pixeled :)
This is really great. Was the texture size part of the art test, or was that your choice? I'd love to see this same texture but scaled down x2 or x4 so it was pixellated.
my suggestion is to employ some pixel art techniques to increase the crispiness without needing to size the texture up. It's an invaluable skill to all low-res artists
