played the beta on the ps3 its actually really terrible both in game-play and graphics it actually looked like a ps2 game at some points, whats sad is that this was obviously made for the PC then Sony probably swooped in paid these guys a bunch of money to release it on the ps3.
Thank you so much everyone. @ Spoon: its just a easier and efficient way to get the work done for the armour pieces. I Foresee a lot of work with this project so testing out a pipeline thats faster :) oh! here is a smaller update btw
Most likely can't because I volunteer at it. I barely have time to swoop through the convention center on Sunday. However, if you want to say hi, I work the PC Freeplay area. Ask for Drew (the other one), or my handle here.
in movies There is no such thing as too many polygons!* You get to use displacement maps in place of normal maps No compensating for rendertime* in terms of software, Mari in place of Substance painter Vray in place of Marmoset Toolbag * - within reason. DON'T make 10 iterations of Turbosmooth on a spoon
Hey Particle. This is pretty good for an early piece of work. I agree with Spoon regarding the functionality of certain aspects. Also I would look into creating a specular map too as this can really help define the materials you are trying to create. Keep it up! Ed
Hi Spoon I'm in the same process, trying to see how fast SD can speed up your workflow :) I'd like to know why baking in SD is better than other apps as well, is there some kind of batch bake function for multiple objects?
His card is die cut... his card is foil stamped... his card is embossed... his card makes me want to rip my eyes out with a rusty spoon and would most certainly go in the bin if I ever received one like that! XD
I could have sworn I saw a detailed tutorial about how UT handles static vs. dynamic lights, with nice helpful images. Will try to dig it out. Not sure if this helps, but have you seen this thread? http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=168514
I could have sworn the Ice King is voiced by John Kassir (dude what voiced the Crypt Keeper) at least in the pilot that was all over the internet a while ago. I've only seen a couple episodes of the series proper but I like what I've seen.
