Hey, thanks for the feedback! Jessica: yea the eyebrows were coming at a later date, i always stick them on after i get the forehead looking right for some reason, just find it easier, even if they are on a different layer! agreed with the dip, i took out an edgeloop from there aswell as it wasnt needed. I love evil circus themed games (anyone remember CarnEvil?) You didn't specify if you do or don't want critiques, so I'll just go ahead and give one Right now the clown has a few things that stick out as problem areas. First off, the belt seems incomplete, as their are no holes in it other then the one the buckle resides…
Yo guys, there's quite a lot of time for the contest so I'm planning on doing more than one submission. I made a list of potential skin ideas, and I'll be posting thumbnails or whatnot of process. I'll probably thumbnail a lot of things I won't actually do in the end. Anyway, here's the first batch: Idea 1 is pinata yasuo…
Nice piece! The end scroll from the roof seems like the chunkiest topology, kind of stands out at the moment. Can you add another set of edges there? Bricks feel haphazardly placed, feels really odd to have them sticking out in the middles of the walls. You could try adding a few fallen leaves to the patio to add a little…
UPDATE: finished model: model My goal is to make a low-poly (6 -10k) fantastical but believably functional chair that can be a central prop in a real-time engine. For the style I chose baroque and art nouveau mix with a steampunky vibe. For the story I imagined a wealthy middle aged late 18th early 19th century gentleman…
Taking assets I created for the Hero Spawn Point I am creating a side scrolling level based off world 1-1 of Super Mario Bros for the new. Here is my first pass laid out in Unity. https://youtu.be/lbTFx70VG2s 2nd Pass at the level. Adding in bits of broken path and figured out what to replace the pipes with. Good ol'…

This will help you understand the shapes that you're sculpting better, it gives a more accurate representation of the surface forms and is easier on the eyes. * Stick to…
I think this might just because our brain works in relatives instead of absolutes. When spending a lot of time on a piece, working on it inch by inch, it is almost impossible to stick to the bigger scheme of things because we just cannot grasp it fully at all times. Of course I am not just talking only about zoom factor…
As an animator I HATE oblong eyes or eyes with "anatomically correct" lens bumps modeled into the eye mesh. Stick that crap in a normal map if it's really that important. But I'll gladly deal with a lens bump over a oblong eye, any day... Oblong eyes make it hard to place a pivot point and even if it ends up in the best…
