Yeah, I know that the focus on Mudbox isnt that great. I have tried Zbrush a number of times, but I never get used to the interface even if I customize it to my liking. It just too heavy for me.
This site has a really slick interface. I liike http://www.artstation.com/artist/Bonebrew22 If you need Invites PM me, but at this point I think the ratio of people needing invites to people WITH invites has steamrolled.
The video doesn't show anything remotely new, it shows someone playing with scans in AR, after all the tedious scanning & processing work was done. Looks to me like a proof-of-concept promo for an AR interface idea.
check out world creator, it has such a vastly superior interface and its very easy to get the results you want and fully in real time Worlds apart from world machine imo. https://www.world-creator.com

FYI i haven't touched the display panel in 2 years. oh well, thanks for sorting it out. seems like hide shapes is assigned to shift+s. i'd say its more of a user interface error.

Actually I think that "Smoothteddy" is a much better 3d app for kids. It's Java based, works in a browser window, and exports to OBJ format, textured and painted. Very simple drawing based interface. and VERY intuitive. Scott
