You can all go fuck yourselves. Put some effort into it? As if I had not thought of that, no, I just assume everyone is supposed to know everything about EVERY motherfucking software. Many of those Autodesk Help files are about as worthless as the shit I took this morning, or you people. -

Well it's been common place for a while. Adobe, Autodesk and Steam all do this regional pricing and people always end up paying more in UK/EU. This day in age with digital distribution, there should be none of this. Modo and other smaller devs can do it, so can the big ones. -

hot damn bout time... now let's bitch to autodesk why we cant tie bundle textures in the same file as a 3ds max. cause god knows we fucking hate it when path links break and we have to find the textures all over again with uvmap =_=* -

I'm hoping that the main difference will be speed, especially interaction speed. I'm also not 100% sure if TS pro does the same exact uv smoothing you need to get the same result as you would when subdividing in mudbox. Autodesk opensubdiv certainly does, according to Neil Blevins. -

If you check on sequence it should make an IFL file. I don't think they animate in the viewport, even if you press play, they used to. They seem to render fine if you output a avi, so I guess something they did to the new viewport that borked the viewport preview. (shakes fist at autodesk). -

I like the following sketching and paint apps: ArtRage (Best UI, Tools and Line quality, but performance is a little slow.) Autodesk Sketchbook (Good performance, but quick lines look blocky. Nice UI.) ArtStudio (The most like photoshop, but with ugly UI. Great line quality, and a brush editor.) -

Nope, no junk history. It's a freshly created cube primitive. 2012 Hotfix 4. It's such a simple thing to do, I don't see why X amount of releases and four hotfixes later Autodesk is still having a hard time getting basic commands working right. I miss Max :( -

For me I can't use Maya without Nex. I take it for granted most of the time and forget how naked Maya is without it, I don't regret it. But then again it might get bought and rolled into Maya 2011, since that's what Autodesk seems to really like doing and they did it with polyboost. -

I haven't written a MEL before but from autodesk doc it suggests in order for Maya to learn the global in MEL you need to source it. (It also explains why you need to re-source it manually when you change the file) Just a guess. EDIT: This doc explains it in more details.
