I think i need to pay off my student loans before I get one of these...by that time, maybe there will be more companies producing them and that will force the market price down. I see these bottoming out at around $750 in about 10 years or so. -

Got some wireframes from the guy who wants me to create stuff like this for him.. No tricks.. just a ton of verts.. I don't understand how a game like SL runs if people are creating necklaces like this. This has to be in the 100-200k range, right? I think hero characters in next-gen games are going to be around 45-75k… -

I recently built basically the same computer. GTX 770 4GB, i7 4770k, 16 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD (for storage), ASUS Z87 PRO, 750W power supply for just shy of $1000. Although I built it over the period of Black Friday to Christmas to watch sales. -

Thanks a million Denvir! appreciated :) , Iam currently re-modelling this Piece iam going to add deep bullet Dents, scratches and make it look beatn up... , so on that i will bake the bullet dents etc as a normal and il try aim for 750 polys at most for this model..problem is that i will turbosmooth it with 3D max to get… -

agreed. I'd probably go with a 750 ti, and don't buy just any PSU, there's a couple good deals going on now: CSM 450m XFX TS 550w (believe this is seasonic made) You shouldn't need more than a 500w PSU really, unless you're planning on SLI. And if you go with the 750, which is really energy efficient, you can go even lower… -
